About Ed
Ed the Executive Duck at work on their owner's laptop Say hello to Ed. Ed stands for 'executive duck' (not to be confused with Edd the duck from the CBBC 1990s broom cupboard). Ed may not look impressive, but he/she/they (Ed is gender-fluid) is having an immense impact on the lives of a number of neurodivergent entrepreneurs. The Ed Trials is an informal experiment inspired by rubber duck debugging . Could explaining the day's tasks out loud to a rubber duck make it easier to pack the right things in the work bag and be ready to hit the road running by showing any flaws or gaps in thinking. Or perhaps verbalising a task might help with motivation to start the task? Or perhaps Ed could act as a body-double and have a similar effect to being the presence of a human who knows what you are supposed to be doing? Or perhaps Ed might remind you to do the one thing you keep forgetting or avoiding? Or or or... And so The Ed Trials idea was born. Join us ...
